The West Bengal LWF Contribution Rate Revised wef September 2018
As per notification published by the West Bengal Labour Welfare Board dated 12th October 2018, the Board has exercised its powers under Section 9 (2) of the West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974 and has revised the rate of contribution for every six month with effect from 1st September, 2018.
By the order, it is also clarified that any violation in respect of deposit of the statutory dues shall be punishable with imprisonment up to 1 year and fine up to 2 thousand rupees or both.
The revised rate of contribution as compared to the previous rate is tabulated below:
